Specifications

The Quiet Quilt (approx 43x57 in.) is made of Cotton/Polyester (other fabrics available upon request) and utilizes tubular channels and pockets to hold varying amounts of hypoallergenic plastic granule packets. The packets are completely encased in an envelope construction for safety. The weight packets are removable and completely machine washable. Some less expensive blankets on the market use sand as weight which does not last and leaks over time. The hypoallergenic granules in the "Quiet Quilt" are designed to hold up through years of machine washing. The weight of the quilt will be customized for your child. Please consult with your Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist. Generally, most therapists recommend 10% of the child's weight as a good weight to begin with. My son likes a 15 lb. quilt.

The color and fabric choices available will vary each week (Please see available choices above), but if you have a particular color in mind, I will do my best to find it for you. The quilt is machine washable. I have found that removing and washing the granule pockets separately works best.
